Allen, a mid-20s screenwriter adapting an Ian Fleming-esque novel to the silver screen, receives help in his love life and his writing from an imaginary friend that only he can see – the novel’s brazen & cheeky protagonist, MI-6 agent Peter Swift. Hijinks ensue.

- Traits: Smart dialogue, flawed but likable characters, a playful take on a perennially popular genre, poking-fun at the bombastic aspects of the James Bond/Spy genre while still being able to indulge in it, dialogue heavy rom-com but with the structure & pacing of a spy movie
